Angela Louie of Golden Eagle Club (also in Division J), now moves ahead to the ultimate, the International Speech Contest in Toronto, ON, on August 27th.
Do visit Tillicum on Monday, July 18, when Angela will preview her speech for your evaluation! Last night at the first meeting of the new advanced club in Division J, Community Impact Speakers, Angela presented her speech for the first time. It was very, very good, and she will be perfecting it in readiness for the Contest.
Please make a special mention on your calendar to be at the club on July 18 - coincidentally, the theme of the evening is: If I ruled the world ... How fitting! If Angela wins the International Speech Contest she will, indeed, be regarded as the best public speaker in the world!!
