Motivational/Inspirational Speakers was the theme of tonight's meeting, amiably chaired by Tom. Great theme for a Toastmasters' club and the members responded accordingly!
Mariam as Grammarian chose Ambition (n.) as the word of the day. Meaning: an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction, as wealth or fame, and the willingness to strive for it, with the example "Toastmasters demonstrate ambition in their efforts to achieve the DTM."
