Yep, it was Stetsons and saddles tonite pardners – as we all succumbed to stampede fever!!!
Welcome to our three guests: Petra and Andrew making their second visit, and Neil making his first. Glad to hear that you all enjoyed the evening.
Andrew joined Tillicum this evening, so Congratulations Andrew, welcome to the fold and much success in your Toastmaster experience!
John S kept to the theme throughout his role as Chair, and bridged with much information on the stampede and its history.
Mary W as Grammarian gave us the appropriate word pell-mell, meaning heading recklessly, in disorder or confusion – and it was well used to describe anything to do with the stampede!
George T was Table Topics Master and kept to stampede-type situations, gallantly won by Hal, who described with much gusto the animals he felt should be in the stampede – go easy on those grizzlies!!!
Grace brought some somber moments with the delivery of her 7th speech entitled Diabetes Today; very informative Grace and thought provoking. Grace won the Best Speaker Award.
Congratulations again to Barb A. for winning the Best Evaluator award, and Colleen P. rounded off the evening with her wonderful General Evaluation.
