Mary K, our elequent Secretary, also acted as Grammarian and gave us the wod: Persuade; as a verb: to cause to do something urgent or inducement; and as an adjective: having the power or tending to persuade. Example: “It was a very persuasive advertising campaign.”
Fun and games took place during a 7-member Table Topics, hosted by Hal. Mary K won the Best Table Topics Award with her vivacious and persuasive reality TV presentation on how to gain weight and keep it on! Well done Mary – now back to the Twinkies!
Rosemary informed us with her 2nd project, this time on Winning Evaluations, and has now completed her Competent Leader. Congratulations Rosemary on achieving ATM B and CL in a few short weeks!!
This brings our club goals to 4.5 and you can see the full breakdown of how Tillicum is doing as we meet the half-way mark to our goal of President's Distinguished Club. Well done Tillicum!

Maureen mentioned the Pizza Night that is scheduled for Monday, October 25th. It was such a success last May, that we are pleased to do the same again – with the same varieties: Deluxe, Vegetarian and Ham and Pineapple. Just $10 buys pizza and a contribution towards club funds. Such a deal!! Maureen will collect monies on October 4th and 18th, and last minute payment on the 25th!! Please contact Maureen with your choice of pizza so we know who wants what!!
