CONGRATULATIONS TILLICUM!!
YOU ARE NOW A PRESIDENT’S DISTINGUISHED CLUB!
An especial thanks to Rosemary for sending me notes on this evening’s meeting, which I could not attend due to illness – beware the virus of March!!
Thank you Tiffany for visiting us as a first-time guest; hope you enjoyed the evening.
The theme of the evening was "It's the first day of spring and how does that make you feel?" Well, it made our Chairperson, Mary feel like singing, proving that she's a fine singer, as well as an accomplished speaker!

Troy as Grammarian gave us the word of the day: Immutable (adj.) meaning not capable of or susceptible to change. Example: “It was the immutable law of snow. Snow moved from the street will take up space somewhere else.
Susan as Table Topics Master, conducted Table Topics in a creative way. Selected members pulled the petals off a paper flower to reveal their topic. Best Table Topics Award went to Lydia with her rendition of "Spring Fever."
On to the speakers, and Ken delivered speech #2 from the CTM manual: "Energy, work and our bodies" in which he talked about Reiki, therapeutic touch and massage. Slavica from Speechcraft delivered speech #6 from the CTM manual, entitled "Hands in your pockets" in which she described how she dealt with her daughter's outbreaks of eczema. Slavica did very well, and is entering the speech contest next Monday.
Ken won the Best Speaker Award and Maurice won the Best Evaluator Award for his evaluation of Slavica’s speech. Congratulations to all winners!
Rosemary completed another Competent Leader for the club with a presentation from the Leadership Excellence Series: "Giving Effective Feedback", securing another goal for Tillicum for a total of NINE goals – thanks Rosemary, with your last goal Tillicum is a winner!
