The Area 80 contest was held in the Auditorium of the New Westminster Public Library last evening, and we are pleased to announce that Tillicum took first place in both contests!
Congratulations John for placing1st in the Table Topics Contest and
Congratulations Maurice for placing 1st in the Humorous Speech Contest.
Both John and Maurice move to the Division J contest that takes place on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Burnaby City Hall. This event will be hosted by Burnaby Toasters.
Please do attend on October 18 to support and inspire our winners, as they compete in the last contest before the District Conference at the beginning of November.
